Andrew and Randall Crawley Fellowship in Ancient History

Magdalen College proposes, if a suitable candidate applies, to appoint to an Official (Tutorial) Fellowship in Ancient History, with effect from 1 October 2008. Applications are invited from candidates with research interests in ANY AREA of Greek or Roman History. The successful candidate will be expected to provide tutorial teaching in Greek and Roman History, and to contribute to graduate supervision, lecturing, and examining for the Sub-Faculty of Ancient History. Pay will be on the scale £39,159 to £52,628 p.a., and additional allowances are available.

Applications (nine copies), containing a completed application cover sheet (including the names of three referees), a curriculum vitae, and a statement of teaching experience and research interests, should be sent to the College Secretary/Academic Administrator, Mrs Nancy Cowell, Magdalen College, Oxford, OX1 4AU, to arrive by noon on Tuesday 15 January 2008. Candidates should ask their referees to write directly to the College Secretary/Academic Administrator by this deadline.
