If you are coming for the first day of the conference please do think about coming along to the walking tour of York on Thursday afternoon. Apart from learning about the history of science in York, this is a fantastic way to see many of the historic buildings of this beautiful city. There is a fee of £3.00 for the tour.
York Science Trail Thursday 6 July,
The Science Trail, curated by the York Science Trails Group, will introduce conference delegates to the geography of York and its rich history of scientific practitioners. You can joint the trail at two locations:
The Ground Floor of the Ron Cooke Hub Atrium at 14.00
The Yorkshire Museum on Museum Street, in York city centre, at 14.30.
Delegates at Lord Mayors Walk 
Delegates with accommodation at Lord Mayors Walk may find it most convenient to book into their accommodation and then attend the Science Trail which begins a short distance from Lord Mayors Walk. After the walk delegates can then travel together up to campus for Registration and the start of the conference.
There is also a session at the National Railway Museum on Friday at 13:30.
Saturday morning at 9:30, we have also arranged a tour of the Borthwick Institute for Archives on campus!
