Publications

Regular publication is a key feature of the Society's professional activity.  Our print publications include

• The British Journal for the History of Science: our peer-reviewed quarterly journal, including articles by leading researchers and reviews of the latest books in the history of science, technology and medicine
• Viewpoint: the BSHS Newsletter, published three times a year, and featuring news and views from across the field
• The BSHS monograph series: established to ensure that valuable indexes and research material are readily available in print

A significant volume of our output is now available online, mostly via this website: this includes the BSHS List of Theses, the Guide to Institutions (replacing the former Course Guide), and the ongoing Wheeler Library project.  The Outreach and Education Committee is developing a range of resources in various formats, to be published in Viewpoint, on this site and elsewhere.
