The British Society for the History of Science is looking for a new Archivist.
As historians, we all know that archives are crucial, and so we have to look after our own records properly and preserve our heritage. The BSHS Honorary Archivist, Jamie Stark, has recently become the Books Reviews Editor for BJHS, and he is looking for the right person to succeed him in the role.
You don’t need to be a qualified or experienced archivist – the staff at Special Collections in Leeds will do all the accessioning and organisation. All you have to do is make sure that the papers reach them, and also promote the archive as a scholarly resource.
If you think you might be interested, please get in touch with Jamie Stark on J.F.Stark@leeds.ac.uk. Deadline for applications: Friday 10 November 2017.
