The British Society for the History of Science (BSHS)

CFA: BSHS Viewpoint Editor

The British Society for the History of Science is looking for a new Editor for Viewpoint. This is the Society’s full-colour, non-technical magazine which was originally founded to encourage non-members to become interested in our activities.

The current editor, Alice White, is stepping down and will be handing over the position. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Alice for her fantastic work over the last few years.

Viewpoint regularly includes a 2,000-word feature article, reviews of popular books and museum exhibitions, reports on conferences and BSHS grants, special announcements and more – but there is plenty of flexibility for the next editor to introduce changes.

Applications from PhD students, postdocs and early career researchers are warmly welcomed. If you think you might be interested, please get in touch with Patricia Fara (BSHS President) on pf10006@cam.ac.uk. Deadline for applications: Friday 10 November 2017.
