Departmental Information

Department Profile The University of Glasgow in Dumfries is located on the Crichton University Campus, and housed in the Rutherford/McCowan Building, a beautifully refurbished Victorian building, located within 85 acres of parkland and gardens. We share the campus with the University of the West of Scotland, and Dumfries and Galloway College. Facilities include a new purpose-built library and a networked IT suite complete with multi-lingual word processing and language learning programmes. There are excellent student support services and 2008 will bring sports and recreation facilities and a refectory.
