Department Profile: 
The Centre's research objective is to promote history of science, technology and medicine through externally-funded research posts and postgraduate research. The Centre has been outstandingly successful in attracting substantial external funding (around £1 million in the last 5 years) from the Wellcome Trust, the Leverhulme Trust and the AHRC.
