The launch and the first seminar of the Collaborative Interdisciplinary Study of Science, Medicine and the Imagination Research Group (CISSMI) takes place on Wednesday 4 November 2009 at 5pm where Patrick Wallis (London School of Economics) will deliver a paper on:

Collaborative Interdisciplinary Study of Science, Medicine and the Imagination Research Group (CISSMI) is a research collaboration between the Universities of Glamorgan and Cardiff University. The research group is dedicated to the study of the history of science (particularly the medical sciences) and the imagination (literary and cultural).
