The Department of Science and Technology Studies at UCL seeks to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Philosophy of Science, with teaching and research interests in the philosophy of science, and – preferably – the history and philosophy of the physical sciences broadly construed. The successfulapplicant must hold a PhD in the appropriate subject area, and is expected to have a range of interests within history and philosophy of science, to be active in research and publication, and to be capable of teaching the subject to undergraduate and postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.
