One-year Assistant Professorship in Philosophy/HPS

Appointment in Philosophy and History and Philosophy of Science

The Faculty of Arts, the Department of Philosophy and Classics and the History and Philosophy of Science Program at the University of Regina invite applications for a one-year term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective September 1, 2003. The successful candidate will be required to teach five single-semester courses, as follows:

1. Philosophy 330: Philosophy of Mind 2. History and Philosophy of Science 220: Revolutions in Science 3. Philosophy 100: Introduction to Philosophy 4. Philosophy 213: Early Modern Philosophy 5. History and Philosophy of Science 200: Science, Technology and Society

Candidates should have a Ph.D. (or ABD), teaching experience and evidence of research ability. Applicants should send a complete dossier – curriculum vitae, a sample of writing, and undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and arrange to have three letters of reference sent to:
