Following an Enhancement Award from the Wellcome Trust, the Centre requires a full-time Research Assistant for three years on two sequential projects. A one-year project, with Professor Lawrence Weaver and Dr Malcolm Nicolson, will investigate the history of infant feeding in early twentieth-century Glasgow. A two-year project, with Professor Anne Crowther and Dr Marguerite Dupree, will investigate medical and social approaches to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in Scotland since 1960.
