We would like to invite applications for a Research Worker to work on the History of the Maudsley Hospital from its foundations to 1948. The appointment, which is funded by a grant from the Wellcome Trust, is for two years full-time.

The successful candidate will undertake archival research both in the UK and United States and be responsible for the collection of data from random samples of patients using a standard form. This information will be used to create a database for statistical analysis. The Research Assistant will report to Professor Edgar Jones.

Starting salary in the range Stlg. 21,783 pa to Stlg. 25,966 pa (inclusive of Stlg. 2,323 pa London Allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
