RESEARCH POST IN HISTORY

The Board of Celtic Studies of the University of Wales seeks applications for a research assistant to work on a project entitled ‘Science and Culture in Nineteenth-century Wales’. The successful candidate must possess a good postgraduate research degree in History, History of Science or a related discipline. A reading knowledge of Welsh would be advantageous.

The appointment is offered on a one-year fixed-term basis at a salary of £19,460 per annum on the Research Grade 1B. The date of commencement will be 1 November 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter.
