The Imperial War Museum’s new exhibition, ‘Saving Lives: Frontline Medicine in a Century of Conflict’, is now open – see http://www.youtube.com/watch?=AlxmquLayRs

There are two forthcoming related events/activities. The first, on November 15th at 7pm, is a talk ‘Injured in Afghanistan’ in which by an injured soldier, Andy Reid,  and members of the Defence Medical Services explore Andy’s journey from battlefield casualty to recovery and rehabilitation. The second, which will be held on a number of dates in November and December, is a walk and talk looking at the stories of people who saved lives and improved medical care in the First and Second World Wars.
