The University of Edinburgh, is pleased to advertise a two-year temporary lectureship in Technology Studies, located in the University’s prestigious Science Studies Unit. The successful applicant will be a teacher and researcher in the area of Technology Studies and will take over some of the teaching duties of a senior member of the Science Studies Unit for the duration of a two-year period of research leave. Applicants require expertise in the areas of sociology and politics of technology.

Salary: at the lower end of the scale £22,191 – £25,451p.a.
The post is available from 1 August 2003 (or later, by negotiation), with teaching duties commencing on 1 October 2003. The closing date for applications is 30 May 2003. It is expected that interviews will be held in the last two weeks of June 2003.
