Brock University Department of History invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment in the History of Science and Technology. The position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Applicants should have a completed Ph.D. by the time of the appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at every level of the undergraduate programme and to participate in the Department’s new M.A. programme. The appointment will commence July 1, 2006, at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The Department is advertising in 5 fields concurrently, and it hopes to hire at least one historian from these fields who also has a strong research interest in gender history and could contribute a course on comparative gender history to the Department’s new M.A. programme.
