The Junior Research Fellowships

Imperial College London invites applications for a new research career development scheme. This will support up to 20 research-only Fellowships across Imperial’s range of research disciplines. The Junior Research Fellowships will give the world’s top early-career researchers three years free from teaching and administration plus a competitive salary and research expenses. Applicants must have an upper second or first class undergraduate degree with a PhD or equivalent. They should normally have between 2 and 4 years postdoctoral experience. Each applicant needs to identify a College sponsor who will act as their mentor and help them develop their research. Historians of science, technology and medicine are eligible to apply, and are invited to contact potential sponsors in the Centre for History of Science, Technology and Medicine to discuss their research plans. Closing date for applications is 30 November 2008 For details of the scheme, see: CHoSTM staff details are at:
