Call for Articles

We would love to highlight Philadelphia-area sites on the travel guide, ready for the Three Societies conference in July, and so we are putting out a call for articles. Articles need to be about 500-1000 words long and we have a guide for contributors which provides full guidance for potential authors

We have had the following sites suggested, but would be glad to receive more:

1. Franklin Institute
2. Rittenhouse
3. Mutter Museum
4. Site of American 1876 Centennial
5. Grave of mathematician Emmy Noether
6. Monument to Joseph Priestly
7. Monument to Copernicus
8. Statue of Alexander Humboldt
9. Wagner Free Institute
10. Pennsylvania Hospital
11. American Philosophical Society
12. Academy of Natural Sciences
13. Sproul Telescope, Swarthmore College
14. The ED Cope residence
15. Eastern State Penitentiary

Any help in publicising this call for articles, and spreading the word generally, would be most gratefully received. In order to get the articles online before the conference, our deadline is Friday 15th June although we can be a little flexible about this if needs be.
