Two forthcoming public events: Everett Mendelsohn on scientists as political actors; radiation and risk at the Dana Centre

We are pleased to announce that Everett Mendelsohn, Professor of the History of Science at Harvard University, will be speaking on Scientists as Political Actors: the Depression, the Cold War, Today at the UCL Darwin Lecture Theatre on Gower Street, London, at 6pm on Thursday 14 September. All are welcome to attend. More about the lecture A few days later, on Tuesday 19 September, the Dana Centre in London will play host to another BSHS-organised meeting closely engaged with science-politics relations. Lifting the Lid on Radiation will feature contributions from Keith Baverstock, Brian Wynne and Mike Partridge. More about the debate
