Historian
The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) seeks to hire a historian. The principal responsibility of the NRC historian is to write and publish scholarly histories of nuclear power regulation. Candidates must have an extensive record of peer-reviewed publication on historical topics and ability to explain complex technical issues, in both written and oral communications, to a lay audience. The successful candidate will begin work in January 2010. Salary range: $144,996 to $162,900.
