Visiting Assistant Professor, History of Science/Modern Europe

History of Science/Modern Europe. The Department of History at West Virginia University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, in the History of Science with a modern European focus. Beginning August 16, 2005, the successful candidate should be able to teach the second half of the Western Civilization survey, as well as upper division courses in the history of science and European history. Ph.D. expected by the time of appointment. Applicants should submit a letter of application, three letters of reference, c.v., and sample syllabi to Prof. Gregory Good, Chair, History of Science Search Committee, West Virginia University, Department of History, P.O.
