Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Virginia Tech; nine-month appointment, beginning August 2006 (final approval still pending). Ph.D. preferred but will consider advanced ABD at Visiting Lecturer rank. Teaching experience required. Teaching load: 3 courses per semester. Successful candidate will teach a 2-semester upper-division sequence in the history of technology and one or more sections of a lower-division American history survey course (the Civil War to the present).
