The successful candidate must have a strong interdisciplinary background and be able to teach the STS Program’s graduate core course in history of science and various introductory courses in our undergraduate Humanities Science and Technology program. CSTS has long-term hiring interests in 20th century historical studies (esp. physical science), science/technology and the law, and bioethics. Six semester courses per year, four undergraduate and two graduate. Evidence of teaching excellence required. Salary: competitive. Ph.D. in STS or related field in hand by August 2003.
