ONE YEAR – BEGINNING FALL 2003

Cornell University Department of Science & Technology Studies

The Department of Science & Technology Studies invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship during the academic year 2003-04. The Department seeks applicants with research and teaching expertise in areas related to science and technology studies to teach two courses, including a lecture course on sociology of science. A Ph.D. in a relevant field — history of science, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, or science & technology studies — is required.

Candidates should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability, a writing sample, and the names of two references to Visiting Position Search Committee, Department of Science & Technology Studies, 306 Rockefeller Hall, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853.
