The BSHS invites entries for the 2003 Ivan Slade Prize. The Slade Prize of £300 is awarded biennially to the writer of an essay (published or unpublished) that makes a critical contribution to the history of science. Examples would be scholarly work that critically engages a prevalent interpretation of a historical episode, scientific innovation or scientific controversy. Full details of the Slade Prize
