Falmouth Art Gallery are looking for an Access and Interpretation Manager for maternity cover, with the contract running from February 2013 to March 2014.
The post requires a qualified museum professional who is versatile and dedicated to developing a career in the museums’ industry. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the gallery’s exciting community education programme, developing interpretation and assisting with community projects.
They should have some experience in projects, exhibitions, community education (particularly special needs groups), volunteer management, fundraising, marketing, care of a collection and evaluations. A background in art, history, heritage or art history would also be advantageous.
- 13 months temporary contract (FT 37 hours p/w)
- February 2013 – March 2014
- £16,440 per annum (SCP 16)
