Yale University seeks a tenure-track Assistant or junior Associate Professor in the history of medicine beginning July 1, 2009. Field, region, and period are open, but preference will be given to applicants who work in the history of medicine, the biomedical sciences, or public health since 1800. Duties will include teaching in the Program in the History of Science and Medicine, the Department of History, and the Section for the History of Medicine in the School of Medicine. The search committee will begin considering applications on October 15, 2008.
