Religious Studies. Montana State University-Bozeman invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in religious studies with expertise in Theories of Religion. Specialties must also include either Asian Religions or Religion and Science or Religion and Nature. A Ph.D. in Religious Studies in hand by July 2010 is required. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach introductory and upper-level classes in the theories of religion at the survey level, as well as upper-level courses in the candidate’s other areas of expertise. The successful candidate will also demonstrate curricular flexibility and excellence in research and teaching. The starting date of this position is 16 August 2010.
