Call for papers — Association for Museum History annual conference, 28 October 2005, to be held at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.
The Association for Museum History, in partnership with the Fellowships in Museum Practice program, Center for Education and Museum Studies, Smithsonian Institution, invites proposals for papers on the history of museums, exhibitions, and related subjects. This year special consideration will be given to papers addressing world’s fairs or those exploring the interrelations of museums and world’s fairs. Proposals should include a single type-written page summarizing the paper’s content, contribution to knowledge, and sources; and it should be accompanied by an up-to-date curriculum vitae. Both may be submitted via e-mail attachment (MS Word document format preferred) to: Jeffrey Abt, [email protected]. Hard-copy versions may be mailed to: Jeffrey Abt, Department of Art and Art History, 150 Art Building, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan 48202, USA. The deadline for proposals is midnight, 15 May 2005. Acceptances will be announced no later than 15 June.
