The Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association invites panels and individual papers examining atomic culture for its annual conference to be held at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, Texas, April 7-10, 2004. This will be a joint conference of the SW/TX PCA/ACA and the National Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association.

Possible areas of consideration include, but are not limited to:

Film Television Fiction and science fiction Music Comic books Civil defense The nuclear physicist as cultural figure Nuclear tourism Anti-nuclear movements
