CFP: Joint Atlantic Seminar in the History of the Physical Sciences, Philadelphia, 10-11 May

The Joint Atlantic Seminar in the History of the Physical Sciences will be held in Philadelphia on May 10th and 11th. The seminar is intended to provide a stimulating, supportive and challenging opportunity for graduate students to present their research and receive productive feedback. The seminar will open with a reception on Friday, May 10 and all papers will be presented on Saturday, May 11. Presentations will be 20 minutes each with ample time for discussion.

We invite proposals for presentations from graduate students working in any area of the history of the physical sciences. Abstracts up to 250 words must be submitted online at http://www.pachs.net/events/archive/joint_atlantic_seminar_in_the_history_of_the_physical_sciences/ by April 15, 2013. Selections will be announced soon thereafter.

Some funding is available for partial reimbursement of travel expenses.
