Doctoral / Post-doctoral position HISTORY OF THE BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES IN THE XXth CENTURY
The Institute for the History of Medicine and Health (University of Geneva), invites applications for a one-year doctoral or post-doctoral researcher position in the history of the biomedical sciences in the XXth century. The successful candidate will integrate a research group, directed by Dr. Bruno Strasser, working on the history of bioinformatics, medical genetics and biotechnology. There is no regular teaching duties and the candidate will devote full time to his/her dissertation or post-doctoral research project. In principle, appointment will begin September 1, 2004 and could be renewed for 3 years.
Applicants should hold a degree in history, social or natural sciences, read English fluently, and be willing to collaborate with the other members of the group in developing innovative research in the history of the biomedical sciences.
