The Forum for the History of Science in America Prize Committee is seeking nominations for its 2005 publication prize. The award will be presented for the best article (or a chapter in a multi-authored, edited volume) by a scholar who received the PhD not more than ten years ago (i.e., 1995 and after), published in English in 2002, 2003, or 2004. The subject area, history of American science, is broadly defined to include Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Individuals are encouraged to nominate their own work. The prize will be awarded at the general meeting of the Forum to be held at the History of Science Society meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, November 3-6, 2005. Please send a full bibliographical citation by May 16, 2005 to the committee chair, Toby A. Appel. A copy of the paper is welcome but not required.
