ANNOUNCING Midwest Junto for the History of Science 47th Annual Meeting April 2-4, 2004 Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering, and Technology Kansas City, Missouri
The Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering & Technology invites faculty, students, and independent scholars to participate in the Midwest Junto for the History of Science annual meeting. This conference will meet April 2-4, 2004, at The Linda Hall Library in Kansas City, Missouri.
Short papers (15 minutes) on any topic in the history of science, technology, and medicine, or the philosophy of science and technology are welcome. A short abstract (one page maximum) should be submitted by March 1, 2004, to the program committee: Peter Ramberg Assistant Professor of History of Science Truman State University, Division of Science Kirksville, MO 63501 E-Mail: Peter Ramberg <[email protected]>; or David Robinson <[email protected]> Abstracts may be submitted electronically in an e-mail message, or as attachment. Paper is of course also welcome at the address above.
Graduate students are encouraged to participate. Following our tradition, graduate students who present a paper may request partial subsidy for lodging from the Midwest Junto.

Conference Registration The cost of registration is $25. Junto Banquet The traditional Junto banquet will be held on Saturday evening, April 3. The cost is $30.
