Call for Proposals for a Post-doctoral Fellowship in the History and Philosophy of Science. The Oregon State University Center for the Humanities and the Horning Endowment in the Humanities invite applications for a post-doctoral fellowship in the history and philosophy of science. Scholars not currently employed by OSU who have completed doctorates since January 2005 are eligible for a nine-month fellowship in 2010-2011 with a stipend of $40,000. Postdoctoral fellows will be in residence at the Center for Humanities along with other fellows in a variety of humanities disciplines. Applications are welcome from all fields of the history of science, including medicine and technology, as well as the philosophy of science and intellectual history.
