Law, Ethics and the Historical Display of Human Remains

Organised by Robert Jütte and Christopher Lawrence Wednesday/Thursday 13/14 April 2005 210 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BE

In recent years concerns have been expressed about the retention and display of human remains in scientific, medical and artistic collections around the world. This symposium brings the problems of the acquisition and especially the exhibition of human remains to the attention of those working in ethics, law, the arts, anthropology and medical history.

A full programme and registration form will be available on the following website and from Carol Bowen ([email protected]) from mid-February 2005.
