PROJECT COMPUTING OFFICER, UNIVERSAL GEOMETRY PROJECT
TEMPORARY POST (12 MONTHS), FULL-TIME: Grade D31 on the University salary scale for Research Staff 1(A) – (£19,460)
The Museum of the History of Science, which houses a unique collection of historic scientific instruments of international importance, has been awarded a grant from the Designation Fund Challenge for a project entitled ‘A Universal Geometry: the Astrolabe, East and West’. It is now inviting applications for the post of Project Computing Officer whose task will be to work with the project researcher and other Museum staff to plan, design and implement a database and web site for the project. The successful candidate will posses a relevant degree and experience in designing and implementing databases and web sites.
