Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of History seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of technology and/or science. Preference will be given to candidates whose research and teaching strengths have a comparative, international, or transnational dimension and support the department’s History and Policy Program while also complementing one of the department’s other programs. Preference will also be given to persons holding the PhD at the time of appointment (fall semester 2004).
