The Department of Science & Technology Studies invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship during the academic year 2003-04. The Department seeks applicants with research and teaching expertise in areas related to biology and society to teach two courses, including a lecture course on social and ethical issues in medicine. A Ph.D. in a relevant field — history of medicine or science, sociology, philosophy, or science & technology studies — is required.
