I am pleased to invite postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers to attend a workshop entitled ‘Approches to the History of Medicine: Discussing Methodology’, to take place at the University of Warwick on Friday, 19 January 2007. Individual sessions will be led by academics exploring current and developing methodologies in the history of medicine. All sessions will take the form of discussion sessions – suggested readings will be circulated in advance, and speakers will present for around 20-30 minutes, with 30-40 minutes for questions and discussion. Invited participants include: David Arnold (Warwick), Jonathan Reinarz (Birmingham), Claudia Stein (Warwick), and Flurin Condrau (Manchester). This event is being organised by Kat Foxhall ([email protected]rwick.ac.uk) and Lisa Grant ([email protected]). There is no charge to attend this workshop, however places are limited, so please contact the event organisers as soon as possible to book a place. More information may be found at http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/history/chm/activities/conferences/forthc oming/approaches/. With best wishes, Molly
