This workshop will take place on Wednesday the 25th of October, 9.00am — 5pm at the School of Sociology, Queen’s University Belfast.

We are fortunate to have Dr Iain Morland (University of Cardiff) to give a plenary lecture entitled ‘Plastic Man: Gender, Genitals and Scientific Humanism.’ The workshop will take the format of 3 sessions, each with three speakers and each including a roundtable discussion of the issues and topics raised.

We will be shortly announcing a preliminary program for the workshop. Please check back for details.

This is a rare opportunity for gender, science and technology studies scholars in Ireland to get together. Everyone welcome. Whilst there is no charge for the workshop, if you could complete this form and return it to us it would be helpful in giveing us some idea of numbers

Those staying overnight are asked to arrange their own accommodation. There are multiple guest-houses and B&B’s in the area of the university, as well as the possibility of some guest accommodation in the student residences.
